Beyond the Scales-Cardiometabolic Benefits of Today's Anti-Obesity Agents-October 7, 2026-6-8 PM
Participants will examine the evolving landscape of obesity pharmacotherapy with a spotlight on the cardiovascular benefits of modern anti-obesity medications. The session will review current and emerging agents, summarize key clinical trials, and highlight evidence showing improvements in cardiovascular outcomes--including reductions in major adverse cardiovascular events, benefits in heart failure (especially HFpEF), and favorable effects on cardiometabolic risk factors such as blood pressure, lipids, inflammation, and glycemic control.
