In this session, participants will examine the evolving landscape of obesity pharmacotherapy with a spotlight on the profound cardiovascular implications of modern anti-obesity medications.  The presentation will review current and emerging agents, summarize landmark clinical trials, and highlight evidence demonstrating improvements in cardiovascular outcomes including reductions in major adverse cardiovascular events, benefits in heart failure (particularly HFpEF), and positive effects on cardiometabolic risk factors such as blood pressure, lipids, inflammation, and glycemic control.
