Massachusetts Nurses Association Home Care Summit-Saturday, January 24, 2026-8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

The MNA Board of Directors has scheduled a home care summit to bring together local bargaining unit members to discuss ideas and strategies to better support our members working in the home care setting.  Breakfast and lunch to be provided.  Informal happy hour following the Summit from 4:30-5:30 PM at Trillium Brewing in Canton. Topics to be Covered: -The Current State of Home Care in Massachusetts-how federal (and resulting state) budget cuts impact our practice and workplace and what we need to do about it as a Union. -Using our Power to Address Issues in the Workplace-with a focus on best practices to address "productivity standards." -Building an Escalating Contract Campaign: internal organizing to win! -Organizing in the Home Care Sector. -Preventing Workplace Violence.
